Can you help us?

The team is getting prepped up for February. We are flying and training intensively but we need help, we always need help - what can you help us with?

• Can you help us get sponsorship for 2 retrieve vehicles, perhaps some sponsorship for fuel.
• We need 5 radios, 5 watt and capable of tone squelch, ideally with car chargers, 5 GPS Garmin 76S with detailed mapping of the Manilla area - can you loan one or several?
• We need team uniform shirts and pants - do you know a supplier who might help out.

What else can you help us with, you may well know better than us - all ideas and offers gratefully received.

Flying in Canungra

Greetings from Canungra, where I've gone to escape from the fires of Bright. Unfortunately in 9 days of being here, the weather hasn't been all that amenable and I've only had one cross country flight. However it has given me the opportunity to get a little scratching practice in.

Preparations

Preparations for 2007 National Paragliding Team members living in Bright
have been slowed by the 2006 NE Victorian bushfires.
The bushfire have burnt more that 400,000Ha and are expected to last several
months unless some reasonable rain arrives earlier.

Snappy dressers

The team uniform is slowly coming together. the boss reckons we need HGFA hats but we are slowly dissuading him. Home team ought to look smart. Pants and shirts, we may well be on TV and in the newspapers.

Will be good to know what team vehicles we will get, Toyota may offer us a couple of wagons, 4WD Prado would be great.
